SIZING

Sizing is based on a 'normal' or 'standard' size hand. Unfortunately, almost no one actually has a 'standard' sized hand, no two people's hands are the same, and no pair of hands matches exactly. Similarly, no two pairs of gloves are exactly alike, as each pair of Southcombe Gloves is cut individually and since leather is a natural product, no two skins are exactly alike, nor is the leather uniform throughout the skin.

We use all our skill and expertise to ensure that sizes are exact, however, some gloves will have a little more stretch in the width, and some a little less.


HOW TO FIND YOUR GLOVE SIZE

Usually one hand will be slightly larger than the other, typically the dominant hand (the right hand if you are right handed). Using a tape measure, wrap the tape around the dominant hand at the widest part - between your thumb and index finger - and make a loose fist. Make a note of this measurement and check our sizing guide.

Men's Glove Sizing

8" (20cm) = SIZE S

8.5" (21.25cm) = SIZE M

9" (22.5cm) = SIZE L

9.5" (23.75cm) = SIZE XL

Women's Glove Sizing

6.5" (16.5cm) = SIZE S

7" (17.75cm) = SIZE M

7.5" (19cm) = SIZE L

8" (20cm) = SIZE XL

Or, we have found there is usually a direct relationship between foot size and glove size!

Women's shoe size 3 - Try glove size XS/S.

Women's shoe size 4 - Try glove size S.

Women's shoe size 5-6 - Try glove size M.

Women's shoe size 6-7 - Try glove size L.

Women's shoe size 7 and above - Try glove size XL.
